I'm not one to ask for help but i have hit rock bottom and have no choice but to reach out and ask for some help. My life went from good to BAD in a blink of an eye with no warning of change. I have been forced to sell my childs crib an all my movies and cd's, all my collections of shot glasses from all over the world and my family heirlooms that have been handed down for 10generations or more. I had to in order to make some money to keep us going these last couple months, but even that didnt help much.We live VERY simple or as some say rustic.My bed is a folded old quilt on a hard wood floor and a throw fleece is my blanket on cold nights i tend to wear every piece of clothes i have to keep warm,and my child has a crib mattress on the floor,I took all my blankets and made warm PJs and my sheets i made day clothes,i have recycled alot of my childs old clothes to make patch work clothing.
When i left my bad relationship i left behind my bed,washer & dryer, my stove,my dresser, all my pots & pans, dishes, ALL my towels washcloths and hand towels,ALOT of my clothes too. I had my childs room decorated in hard to find discontinued Blues Clues D`ecor and i had to leave it all behind, ALL my childs clothes i had gotten in advance for growth spurts left behind, we left behind the swing for toddlers and sooo much more. We litterally only have each other,we sleep on the floor in a temporary building that gives us a roof over our head until the landlord evicts us,thankfully he is allowing my to paint and repair things as temporary payment sense i have ZERO Dollars to pay rent with, or my phone bill.
I have contacted EVERY agency & charity listed in the phone book in my Area to ask for help with Rent,Utilities, Diapers & Clothes and Help for Christmas and every phone call or face to face interview is the same, "We would love to help you but...(when you say but it just erases everything you just said before saying BUT)...but we have no funding to help you and your child or you didnt meet our deadline for request for help."
I go to my local well baby clinic when i can to get help with diapers or pull-ups but alot of times they dont have size 6 diapers or pull-ups that fit 30-40lbs,but when they do they can only give 10-15 out a month which is usually 7 every other week.Any parent or granparent knows that is NOT enough diapers to get thru a month.I check freecycle but most all those are small sized diapers for newborn babies,so when i run out i make make-shift diapers using femanine hygine pads.We are working on potty training again but it is so hard to do when i am always in and out of court trying to get Justice served.(Its NOT fair my child indured 2nd degree burns from my EX and HE didnt get in any trouble with the law,nor did he get in trouble when he threatned to kill me or do harm to me in front of a cop.)
Christmas is comming up fast and i have no way to supply decorations or a tree, let alone be able to get my 15 month old a gift. I have exhausted myself trying to find help for Christmas (or general help) I feel myself slipping into a deep deppression the closer it gets to Christmas & every day when i get notices in the mail saying my debts need paid or i'll be going to jail or fined.
I hate asking but is there anyone out there that can help us? The smallest of gifts being a letter with an attached penny would be the most greatfull,I;m not expecting someont to pay my bills and get me out of debt but i ask that anyone who has 2cents to rub together to please spare one and send it to us. A single unused diaper would be greatly appreciated too.The simply things so many take for granted could be the answer to our prayers. If you are rock bottom and asking for help yourself then i ask for you to PLEASE pray for us to find the help we need and we will pray for you too.
